Electronic Locks
Many of our customers now prefer the convenience of electronic safe locks. We let the safe manufacturers test all the locks that we consider using for at least 2 years before we will begin to even touch the locks for our own customers. This means that we can supply and fit locks that we know are reliable, without using customers as guinea pigs, and without causing ourselves the problems associated with warranty claims on new locks.
Modern safe locks are capable of offering:
• Time Delay, where the customer has to input a code number, wait a set time, say 5 minutes, and then input the code again to open the safe
• Audit Trail, we can audit a lock to tell us when it was locked, or opened, and by what user
• Multiple Users, many locks are capable of having many different codes, so that every user of a lock can choose their own code, and users can be added or deleted at any time
• Time Lock, many of the locks we supply can lock out even the owner of a safe until a pre-determined time, say from 5pm at night until 9am the next morning
